About
I recently recieved my PhD in astrophysics from Rutgers University, where I studied the evolution of galaxies under the supervision of Andrew Baker. In particular, I studied gravitationally lensed dusty star-forming galaxies, which allow us to probe the evolution of galaxies to much earlier times in the history of the Universe. Most of my time in grad school involved working with messy datasets and developing statistical modeling techniques for recovering the properties of lensed galaxies from resolved kinematic observations (“3D images” of galaxies).
